Gredos a Caballo

Gredos a Caballo is a pioneering equestrian tourism company in Spain.

We organize routes and horseback riding routes since 1981. During all these years, we have organized routes not only in the mountain range and the valleys of Gredos, but with our spirit to innovate we have extended the routes towards Soria, Cáceres, Salamanca, Zamora, etc.

This innovating and quality trajectory as a tourism company, has allowed Gredos a Caballo to obtain the recognition of institutions, materializing with the prize of Tourism of the Exma. Diputación of Avila of year 1990.

They offer a great variety of routes with itineraries that anticipate the most beautiful and isolated landscapes, as well as the best places to rest or to enjoy the local gastronomy.

Throughout these years, their customers have been able to enjoy their vacations riding horses and traveling through ways, gorges, and routes of seasonal migration of stock in perfect balance with nature.

To the landscape, the gastronomy and expert guides, it is necessary to add the tranquility to ride the best and most resistant Hispanic Arab horses crossed with native horses, whose nobility, resistance and manageability make them suitable to enjoy the landscape, and pleasant gallops.

They are docile, pleasant horses and very adapted to the rustic surroundings. This allows that the rider has the sensation of security, manageability, strength and nobility of the horse so that its mind is released of tensions and can enjoy the trip.
